It's very well-done and even-handed, I think. You and the other guy get in your "parasite" comments. You are quite dapper and well-spoken. But you already knew that :-) Thanks, for soldiering on.

There's early video of a guy in a Darth Vader outfit and Angelwood or TGSL announcing we're the VRWC sent by Rush. Good interior video of Saturday's meeting--shots of Buford fixing his South Dakota sign and the Red State sign, Sauropod's laptop and you pointing out the American sector. Apparently, Leftists can afford internet access but not heat for their building.

Call me ignorant, but it's my perception that the piece misrepresents--and tries to exploit some incorrect notions. Perhaps as a result of a suggestion by Brian Becker, one of their chief Socialist organizers, the notion that A.N.S.W.E.R.'s momentum among American grass-roots society is huge, while FR is, by comparison, a johnny-come-lately, reactionary and parasitic gaggle of 20 people is maliciously wrong. Furthermore, I think the piece effectively misrepresents A.N.S.W.E.R.'s founding and ignores its dubious funding.

A.N.S.W.E.R. indubitably has a much bigger budget with which to bus in bodies for demonstrations, while the Freepers' budgets are undoubtedly modest and mostly self-supporting, but certainly the continuing, active membership tally in the respective groups would probably be far less disparate than the bussed-body ratio would suggest.

The piece let fly with the juxtaposition that ANSWER was formed three days after 9/11, as if it had been an immediate, sympathetic and grass roots response from the mass of American humanity, when we know it was, in fact, instigated by the decades-long, American-hating leftist, Ramsey Clark, who opportunistically happened upon yet another way to bash America. With overwhelming cash infusions from people like George Soros giving university-based leftists the opportunity to "earn their lunch money" to get to and from the rallies, it's not difficult to see how they've been able to create the perception that A.N.S.W.E.R.'s view of America is far more prevalent than that represented by FreeRepublic.

Without Soros'-type funding, A.N.S.W.E.R. would be making the same excuses for its showings as the "Million Mom March" organizers did.

If for nothing else, the report informs that much anyway.

I think I may have to repost the photos from the DC Chapter's counterprotest of the Code Pink(o) peace riot (March 2003) where they tore Kristinn's sign out of his hands and then the goofy guy and his goofy gal pals shoved and jostled me around; and the ANSWER sponsored "Muslim Solidarity Day" in May 2003, at which Mara VerHeyden-Hilliard, Brian Becker and the National Lawyers Guild Green Hats (Victor/Victoria) pow-wowed and decided to shove me around and threaten me with grave physical harm, (from the stage and face-to-face from their thugs), as I stood quietly without a sign, armed only with my camera to capture the hate speech and lies at their rally in Freedom Plaza..

There is nothing peaceful about them.
