This jerk is only resounding what the average language of today's youth really is - the product of a generation without God.
It all started in 1964 when the USSC had prayer removed from . .

Who approved that costume?
I think all this inaugeration hooplah is just too much. The President should be sworn in on the steps of the Capitol, and then walk to the White House, where he can have a nice party, and that's it.

I would have thought you'd be quite happy to have a band saying that they loved America. I'm sure you'd be very upset if he came on and starting attacking the US.
You wouldn't get a band in the UK praising their country on stage, so you should make the most of it. Patriotism comes in many forms.

I have to agree with the sentiment.

Kid Rock gets blocked out of this concert, but you still can't get away from this profanity.

The problem is that these people speak this way throughout each and every day, so it is quite natural to them. They think nothing of it.
Ever walk behind a few teenage boys or girls in a mall? It flows from their mouths like it is perfectly acceptable speech.
I have been in places of business and heard adults speak in the same manner. I'm talking about the women in the accounting department, not the men loading the trucks. Sadly, it's everywhere.
There are many really "cool" Christians bands they could have brought in...but I guess that would be expecting too much.

They use four-letter words because they don't have any four-syllable words in their vocabulary. Some don't use words --just grunt.

Kind of reminds me of the sort of thing I'd have said back when I was a sailor... I'd tend to overlook the bad language and accept the intended sentiment.
Because he's right. We ARE the greatest [bleeping] country in the world.

Brett "Scallions"...kinda brings a tear to my eye.
On another note, while I think it is crass to swear at an inaugural ball, they are rock 'n rollers what do you expect in this time and age (heck, pretty much since rock's been around)...sad, but true. I'm actually surprised he apologized afterword. Perhaps he realized where he was. I've been to a couple of Fuel concerts, man when I was 20,I had the biggest crush on Brett.
