Just heard, apparently police are out in force after hearing of the threat
I find it interesting that so many of the 9/11 killers got on the plane in Logan in Boston.
Perhaps it is because they know the blue state union types are incompetent.
Perhaps they hate Boston for some reason.
Or Perhaps they know the city, having been a student there.
Time to go on a HAJJ.............
Just goes to prove that the LA Times is correct: terrorism and Al Qaeda are simply a construct of the Bush Administration, eh? They've simply asked Bin Laden to get back and Boston for the Kennedy/Kerry duo and it's done.

BOSTON -- The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency has been placed on standby, and public safety officials are meeting at the bunker, officials said Wednesday.
There have been reports that the FBI office in Boston received a call from an FBI office in California warning officials about a suspicious person that may be in the area. There have been no specific threats made, but FBI agents in Boston have been put on alert, and officials started to gather at MEMA at about 1:30 p.m.

Actually, I've done some study on that. If I remember correctly, Japan DID attempt to issues a warning, or at least make a formal declaration of war shortly before the deed. Unfortunately, a diplomatic SNAFU delayed the formal declaration.
I wish I could remember were I read this, but, (again based upon an unnammed source I read MANY years ago), Japan had preparred another wave of strikes once they had refueled their plains, but becaused of the SNAFU, they pulled back as it was against their honour to have attacked in such a manor
I could be wrong.... and either way, I don't think that those threatening use of a dirty bomb have near the honour of Japan.

Holy crap. That's disturbing.
It doesn't seem that interesting to me. Their plan was NY, and they wanted pretty full gas tanks, but they also needed a little time to hijack the planes. Cross-country planes out of Boston seem like the most obvious choice.

There has to be more then just a phone call. The FBI wouldnt be "on the hunt" and it wouldnt be a drudge headline if there wasnt some real meat to this story. Im sure they get 100 pranks a day talking about bombs.

You got to be kidding! You never heard of Bush beans? Invite a liberal to dinner and put the can on the table, it freaks them out.
Anywhere else would be embarassing and publically scarring leading up to the inauguration, so it would be almost as good as a strike on DC.
