Just heard, apparently police are out in force after hearing of the threat
I was watching this thread earlier when it first showed up.- left after the server got clogged and came back. Itried to catch up and unfortunately you were the first that caught my eye.
I meant no offense, I just get on about the fear of an atomic explosion that some have.

Boortz was pretty impressed with the expert he was talking with. And the conventional explosion is nothing. A tiny particle of radiation is lethal, but not instantaneous. I don't know what it's called, but if you have a speck of this stuff in your yard, it's a hazard to you. Sure, a full blown nuke is worse. But I don't think Boortz was fearmongering when he invited that guest. Who knows? Maybe he was. FReegards....

Partially correct. A dirty bomb can also be a jacketed nuke. As to the effect, take a look at the "kitten" tests conducted in OZ.
