"I-95 goes through Providence, kinda the long way around to NY."

Yeah, it goes down to Jacksonville, as well. We're kinda sweating the super bowl thing.

Unfortunately it's all too possible. The terrorscum are not stupid.

We've been complaining about the border being like a sieve for years. They know exactly where our weakness lies and they will use it.

A hydrogen bomb is also a dirty bomb. The most commonly bomb refered to as a dirty bomb is just explosives wrapped with some radioactive material.
You are correct that a jacket nuke would be a dirty bomb.

The Boston Herald has done a series of pieces dealing with the possible hazards of shipping containers, along the Northeastern-Metroliner corridor, which could be used as conveyances for nuclear material.

I'm always skeptical of people who believe that they can predict what the next move of these lunatics will be.

Personally, I think that our homeland would be a lot more secure if we could get some decent, Arabic-speaking FBI agents.

I would prefer Mizrahim and Eastern Rite Arabs, rather than foreign-born Muslims, whose loyalty to this nation is dubious, at best.

The chicoms have more to gain and have been gearing up for a fight for quite awhile, now. They paid clinton a tidy sum to soften us up.I'd bet they're chicoms.

the current chinese government, officially, would never sanction something like this (at least not in January 2005). talk to me a few years down the line. if they did such a thing, beijing will not exist 24 hours from now. let's cool down. these may not even be chinese, could be another asian. could be chinese muslim. who knows. hopefully we can see the pics soon

It just seems like a long way to go from Mexico to Boston with nuclear stuff!!

Seems fishy to me.

FBI Investigating 'Dirty Bomb' Threat in Boston
Wed Jan 19, 2005 05:20 PM ET

BOSTON (Reuters) - The FBI said on Wednesday it was investigating a report of a "dirty bomb" threat in Boston, but called the information "uncorroborated."

ABC News reported on Wednesday that teams equipped with radiological sensors were patrolling Boston amid a possible "dirty bomb" threat, but local police said they had no information.

"I haven't heard that we're out there with radiological sensors," said Boston FBI spokeswoman Gail Marcinkiewicz. "Right now all I can tell you is the information that we have has not been corroborated. We have shared the information with our law enforcement partners and we're working aggressively to resolve it."

The ABC News report, broadcast over local Boston radio station WBZ, said an FBI field office in San Diego notified colleagues in Boston that someone may be trying to detonate a dirty bomb in the city.

Marcinkiewicz declined to comment on the source of the information but she noted that the FBI "gets information like this all the time." She would not speculate as to why this particular report had generated so much media interest.

Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, in Washington for President Bush's second inauguration ceremony, was scheduled to discuss the matter during a news conference at 5:30 p.m. EST.

WBZ reported Romney would cut short his trip to Washington and would return to Massachusetts later on Wednesday evening as a result of the report. A spokeswoman for the governor did not rule out that Romney would return to Boston on Wednesday.
