But if there were a terrorist strike today, I don't believe there would be a public Inauguration tomorrow.
Any thoughts...if something happened today, would they go ahead with the Inauguration?

well depends....I'd say anything short of a nuke going off in dc killing everyone isn't going to upset plans with the inauguration. A dirty bomb is bad, but it's not as bad as people make it out to be. A dirty bomb isn't going to vaporize the eastern half of mass. I'm sure they'd have a pray err remembrance moment. and the speech writers would be busy tonight making a statement.

Would have to think that all the public pomp and circumstance would be canceled though.

Agreed a terrorist strike today would probably delay the inauguration tomorrow, but its too late for anything to happen on the East Coast to obtain maximum casualities. Something could still happen on the West Coast people won't leave work for another 2.5 hours.
