Interesting. I would like to see his plans for a vertical launch spaceship.

The more the merrier.

I have lived in that part of West Texas; it is an ideal spot for rocketry - errant rocket have jolly little chance of destroying anything on the ground. Sparsely populated with very few towns. At least the Van Horn municipal golf course will get a boost. ;-)

It would be neat to see a bunch of Vulcans to play golf...

Ta! Seriously, that part of West Texas is composed of thousands of acres of wide-open space with a few town scattered here and there. El Paso is the only sizeable city and it is a long drive away. You can attend excellent star parties out there.

Oooh! I get to name drop again. Bezos was a friend of mine back in High School. Brilliant guy, and very nice. He is the kind of person for whom you are glad they become successful.

He was in my physics class, and he was an absolute brain. I was surprised that he didn't end up in the hard core sciences or engineering, but I guess with this venture, he gets to do both!

Congrats Jeff, and next time, how about a stock tip?
