Since the article said that it was "consensual sex", I assume the soldier was punished under the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' military policy.
If he were in California and not in the military, consensual sex with a 15-yr old would be legal. Age of consent in California is 14!

The gay (pedophile) club is actively pursuing to have the age of consent lowered to 12! It seems a high percentage of gays have pedophilia yearnings. I remain convinced that gayness is a sickness, a mental malfuntion. now they are going into schools and trying to condition normal children to think it's normal? that is WRONG! it's conditioning, humans can be conditioned into thinking abnormal behavior is ok. Muslims thinking murdering an infidel is ok is a prime example of how humans can be conditioned.
Do you have a reference for gay activists wanting to lower the age of consent to 12? I would like that for my files. Thanks!

I don't remember the exact date that age of consent was lowered to 14, but I remember reading here that a lesbian state legislator introduced legislation to 'do away with the age of consent' and the lowering to age 14 was a compromise that passed.

Hi Susannah, thanks for getting back to me. I found the section on Pedophilia, but can't find anything about their wanting to change the age of consent to 12. Do you know which link it's under? I'd really like to have this. I have to confess, I didn't go to each and every link because I'm pressed for time... : (
Also checked out Nambla (ug), but couldn't find much about that particular issue. (Gosh, that's a gross site to visit.)
