"The newsletter, which is distributed by Jerry Falwell Ministries, said donations would be used to distribute food and Gospel tracts in the region."

Oh my, the moslems complain about a little tract ...maybe they only prefer their method of gentle proselytism , the sword.

I see no problem with this. Actually, as a Christian, I am very supportive of this ministry. If they evangelize, then they should be allowed to. I don't think President Bush, as a Christian, would have a problem with this.

So CAIR would find it acceptable to ban Muslim proselytizing in the US?

No, I thought not.

he evangelist said: "Hundreds of thousands are in dire need of medical attention and personal counseling. And in this heavily Muslim part of the world, millions have never even heard of Jesus Christ."

I'm no fan of Falwell, BUT I definitely agree with that statement -

Well... You can't accuse the Muzzies of using their donated money that way. They haven't contributed enough to convert a gnat to Islam.

"A U.S. Muslim group ... the Council on American-Islamic Relations"

I thought they are funded by Saudis. They sure never have the best interest of American moslems at heart.

Sounds quite "intolerant" of Mr. Hooper to be complaining about Christian proselytizing.

These Muslims need to grow up. Maybe if their home countries weren't so stingy, this wouldn't be happening now would it?!

It would appear this particular Moslem group still doesn't understand that the government (the President) is not likely going to act to suppress the activities of a different religious group (Jerry Fallwell) on their behalf.

For one thing it's unconstitutional. For another, these guys should go back home for even thinking that it was the proper place of the state to crush Christian missions.

"This is not the first time we hear about this kind of proselytism," Hooper said. "This has a negative impact, first, on interfaith relations, and second, on the trust and work of legitimate institutions working there."

If one assumes Mr. Hooper's coven of Islam prefer that the money, medicine and food donated on behalf of ALL "Christians" the world over to be regurgitated, rejected, and distained, then he's a bit late.

But then why should anyone expect more of a religion that regards ALL human life as cheaper than dirt?

Christ said to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. Mohammed said to enslave or kill anyone who would not convert.

It's funny, but it seems Islam can only servive if you force people at gunpoint to join, and then shield them from all other thought for the rest of their lives.

I have painstakingly translated this article into American: "We really, really want - no wait - we really, really expect - uh, still not quite right - WE DEMAND food, medicine, clothing, building materials, etc., but if you even THINK about sharing with us the faith that motivates you to acquiesce to our "reasonable" demands - we'll kill ya! And if any of you infidels touch any of our stuff - we'll kill ya!
