I imagine we have more than one and it's our guys waiting on the other end of the cell phones, manning the Car Rental joints etc.. Watch enough of this stuff on TV and it makes the plots too easy. There's a China Town in NYC, yes?

Evidently, that Mexican knew what he was talking about when he said Boston. I wonder how much more of what he said was true?

When did we piss off the Chinese enough to turn them into terrorists? Or is Islam 'Outsourcing" to them too?
To: Friend of thunder; Dog
That list of names has reached 16, according to other reports:
http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/world/archives/2005/01/22/2003220495
The names are part of the same anonymous tip that led authorities on Wednesday to announce that they are seeking to question four other Chinese and two Iraqis. The new names bring to 16 the people being sought for questioning.

I just caught a sound bite on Fox earlier this morning, but they said the mexican could have given this report because he was ticked that he didn't get paid all of what he was owed by this group, and decided to make their lives hell by indicating to the feds that this group was involved in terrorist activity, but they really weren't and just stiffed him for his smuggling fee. Like I said, I just caught a tidbit about this. Anyone else hear this??

Nice catch.

"I think I remember" that one of the Buffalo Cell members tried to enter Afghanistan via China. Wonder if there's a connection, i.e., is there a Chinese Cell already in place?
JUST SPECULATING!!

I'm of the opinion that no matter what the tipster's reason, if they are illegal, track 'em down.

The newspeople just hate it when they're not in the know.
UNTIL it comes directly from the government, we won't know or we're not supposed to know. Be Patient!!

We can speculate anything we want. At least he led the authorities to the correct city.
The Mexican may have family in Boston and that may have been his motive to stop this.

"It seems there are so many other dangers in our society that end up getting ignored housing, homelessness, poverty that are in some ways more threatening," Odams said.God it never ever fails does it. Guess what dumbf__k, if a dirty bomb goes off in your neighborhood, homelessness and hunger aren't really going to matter much!
