Also;
He was not taken to either an INS center or the appropriate place for custody hearings.
He was taken by gov jet to an Air Force base. Now Reno had no juridiction over anything military.
Only Clinton could have orderd that.
This was way out of proper channels.
Clinton ordered the anti-judidial abduction through violent means.

It does seem to me that Clinton would need more than a legal opinion and some mid-level judge's opinion regarding the final disposition of Elian, before ordering what amounted to kidnapping at gunpoint. A Congress with some spine might have had something to say about this.

Clinton counted on people not wanting to take a stand on this case. It worked for him.

Too bad.

The list of people that crossed clinton and wound up dead was probably pretty convincing.
You know the list that Monica gave to Linda Tripp to try to keep her quiet.
Not to mention Katleen Wiley's dead cat and slashed tires and mysterious jogger with threats.
Not to mention Waco.
Not to mention what was done to the witness to Foster's car at Fort Marcy park.
Etc., Etc., Etc.

There is a long detailed and sordid record with regard to Clinton. I do believe he should have been prosecuted for ignoring his draft induction notice. I do believe he was complicit in a number of illegal payola schemes in Arkansas. I do believe the man was and probably still is a threat to women, having commited violent rape and or assault numerous times. I do believe he committed felonies during his term in office. I do believe some murders were committed by those he had association with. Foster and Jerry Parks were likely two of them.

When I see Bush taken to task for lying, it's about all I can do to keep from rolling on the floor laughing. What Clinton was allowed to scate on, would make just about anything Bush had done in his life look tame by comparison.

I may not like some things that Bush is doing, but he is without a doubt a born-again Christian.

I will continue to take him to task on issues of concern to me, but it would take a stunning set of circumstances to convince me that Bush were even one tenth the problem Clinton was, with regard to criminality.

I think that if Bush was guilty of any criminality the left would have been all over it. So far they have been shooting blanks.
I also think Bush's second term will not be as timid as his first. He is very smart and knows that he has had to somewhat go along with the demoncrat/media machine or find another job.
Now he has nothing to gain and everything to lose by giving in.
I predict things will be quite different the next four years.
He will be very successful and the country will turn decidedly to the right when people realize that conservatism gets things done and the left and it's consort the msm continues it's implosion.

I probably mistook your position or argument.

37 is not written clearly.

There are no "illegal alien" Cubans on US shores.

That's the law, you don't like it?

Tough.

***I think that history will regard Presiden Clinton as one of the worst men who ever held power.***

You're correct. And actually its already occurred.

Thanks to him and Jimmah, the Millard Fillmore and Franklin Pierce bashing has stopped.

I remember at that time a Senator urged the family to go to a church and stay there. That the government could not come in there....

You're right; the government could not go into a church. However, following the law -- and moral imperatives, for that matter -- never seemed to be high on the agenda of the Clinton administration. The Feds would probably have gone into the church to get them.

LOL. Thanks Luis J

(I'm trying to start a "Better Pings for FR" campaign. I think it's high time we had "pings" with more "Pizazz".)

Great job with the graphic!
The hypocrisy of the Democrat left and its 'old media' enablers is astounding for its brazen gall. They are hypocrites - - they know it, everybody else knows it, and they don't care.

Regards,
LH

You're probably right about Clinton. He never respected the law and only respected God and church when he knew there was a camera nearby. Too bad the family didn't take his advice though. If you think those pics of Elian's terror on his face were mind boggling, can you imagine seeing pictures of guns going into a church to take a little boy out!

Friend of CASTRO President CLINTON used National TV to play upon the feelings of a 50 percentile of American families who are divorced with his...

"A father has a right to be with his son, a son has a right to be with his father"

...propaganda routine.

In so doing, Friend of FIDEL CASTRO President CLINTON thusly brought family custody
issues in on a Little ELIAN case that was really about Freedom vs. Communism, and not about a Father/Son custody battle at all.

HILLARY is now doing exactly the same thing with America's high rate of single mothers in her run for the 1st Woman Presidency in U.S. History.

No wonder HILLARY mouthpiece and fellow Friend of FIDEL CASTRO Senator BOXER has been all over HILLARY's potential 2008 Presidential woman adversary CONDI RICE on National TV the last 2 weeks..?

I've got a feeling that Webster's is going to have to add a few lines for the new definition of what a 'clinton' is.

Perhaps we should help out...

How do you define what a couple of louts these two are.
