Don't forget the trucker he pointed his 'smoking' cell phone at.

Scrappleface is not the author of this piece. This truly is Memphis' own embarassment who lives like this in real life. If their is a money till open some where in the state, city or county coffers a FORD has their fingers in the till.

Former US rep harold ford sr was involved in the banking scandal in DC if memory serves.

US rep harold ford JUNIOR has ambitions to be the next US Senator..he wants Frist seat. Then on to the White House. It's all he's been groomed for. He's got the media fooled and a good many FReepers that he's a moderate. But we here in Memphis know better...dyed in the wool gun grabbing, abortion loving, tax'em more LIBERAL/SOCIALIST.

Ford said most of that comes from his private insurance and real estate consulting business, though specific sources remain a secret.

Follow the money. I'd like to know where this money comes from as well. I wonder if any of the major lib TN papers will investigate the good senator? Some how I doubt it. This is just one of many of the stories that have happened and will continue to happen that re-affirms my theory that TN would be a much better state if we just ceded Shelby Co. to AR or MS.

Money is what makes the Fords, John and Harold, run. You cannot have a meeting or phone call with either of them without having made a "donation" (of considerable size) to their re-election funds. Without exception.

You think this is bizarre?

This is the guy who, a few years ago, was in a hurry driving back to Memphis from Nashville and took to shooting at other motorists who were impeding his progress!

Didn't EVEN get a slap on the wrist!

Well, I keep on asking God to bring down the evil leaders in government all over the world and set up the good ones. Guess others are asking the same thing. So, I think it is God. Yes. Credit where credit is due.

I think this shooting at cars has (allegedly) happened more than once. I think the first time was at a big truck and the next time (both allegedly I have to say or get sued) at some other vehicle. The speeding laws do not apply to "His Hineyness" either.

These guys, like the one not too long ago that finally ran a stop sign and killed a guy on a motorcycle, are never stopped until they kill someone. Then the "local constituency" can't stop their descent even if they want to. At least the guy I'm thinking of finally ran afoul even of his "loyal local constituency". Guess the death of an innocent man was just more than they were willing to stomach from their pet politician. Sadly enough, I have to wonder whether or not it would be like that in the Ford instance.

One day, Ford may just meet someone out there on the highway armed themselves and without any Ford royalty loyalty.

Oh come on. There's not a law written in any legislative office from the City on up that doesn't include the authors personal intersts.

If you want your interests included, just open your wallet.

He doesn't seem to be married to either one so yes I guess it is.
