Utah Polygamist Gets Five Years
PROVO, Utah (AP) -- A Mormon fundamentalist with five wives and 30 children was sentenced to five years in prison Friday in Utah' s biggest polygamy case in nearly half a century.
Tom Green, 53, also was ordered to repay $78, 000 to the state for welfare checks fraudulently collected by his family.
I understand that, but the intent of that particular show was to have you "hate" the Mormon Church, while behavior like the Senator and other Black leaders is heralded and excused. Similar cause and effect, different standards for outrage.
He did have Hillary's brothers and his own brother staying in the White House.
The mormon religion was started by a sexual pervert. They were all polygamists in the beginning..
I just meant, in comparison, Mormon children are at least more likely to know who their father is.(I really hope I didn't step in it there, my apologies)

The Ford's are a dynasty in Memphis. There are 10 or 12 brothers and sisters and all of them are somehow involved in politics. They make the looney left look rught of center.
You cannot equate Mormon children in general to the offspring of polygamists. I'm not an expert on the subject, but from what I have seen of Mormom polygamists, they are depraved pond scum who set up arranged marriages of young girls and never give them a chance to form their own opinions as to who they would like to marry.
I do agree that most Mormons are very family-oriented. But they are not polygamists.
And the father are pond scum. What good does it do to know who your father is when the father is part of a psuedo-pedophilliac cult that is also prone to rip off welfare systems?

That was the theme of the show that I watched, I just made the comparison to that of inner-city, and I see striking similarities with the exception of the marriage thing.

This is not hard to understand. John Ford is a minority senator from minority Memphis. He has been senator for years. He is Tennessee's Marion Berry. Provided he is not actually sent to prison, he will remain Senator for as long as he wishes.
He's so bad I actually feel sorry for Harold Ford Jr. having to admit he is related to him....
You know that Harold Ford, Jr. has aspirations to be President, but I don't think the White House is big enough for this family!!!
