Marty Sheen IS president for a lot of these demented liberal a-holes.
Now that Sheen is going away, I'm actually curious what the liberal a-holes will do. While Alan Alda may be a favorite of libs, if he plays a republican you know he'll be a real a-hole. Not sure that will appeal to their audience. My guess is that they will go with Jimmy Smitts, as the young idealistic and charismatic democrap.

My guess is that they will go with Jimmy Smitts, as the young idealistic and charismatic democrap. Interestingly, Alan Alda recently (I'm sorry, I can't remember where I saw it) described the two Senators he plays on The West Wing and in The Aviator as polar opposites, and says the GOP Senator is a real patriot who wants to do what's best for the country. Strange to hear him describe any Republican that way. He even said the guy in The Aviator was much more fun to play because it's more fun to play a villain.

Jimmy Smitts, as the young idealistic and charismatic democrap. My extremely liberal friends, who are professional movie fans if there is such a thing, detest Smitts because he once lived with a 14-year-old girl. The scandal was pretty much covered up. Of course, in Ho-Wood, living with a 14-year-old is not scandalous behavior.
