Its a rather simple commerical to put out in two years...in the midst of the next round of elections. You simply show democrats attacking Ms. Rice...and you lose 1 million black votes across the entire US...even Jesse Jackson can't repair the damage that has been done here.
Juan Williams discussed this on Fox with Brit Hume last night. For once he made sense.
I about fell out of my chair listening to Juan Williams. If he is saying the treatment was out of line, and that many blacks are taking a look at the conservative ideas of President Bush, it may very well mean things are slowly changing! All week there have been appearances (mostly only shown on Fox) of Black Civic and Church leaders leaving the White House after meeting with Bush, saying that the treatment of Rice is wrong. Looks like maybe Bush's subtle approach in reaching out to Blacks may be beginning to work. Just like changes in Iraq, it won't happen quickly, but the direction is being changed! Hopefully I'll get to see it in my lifetime!

You're right, except for Senator Clinton. Unfortunately she is very busily repackaging herself as a moderate. Hopefully she won't get away with it, and her true stripes will show!! It's hard to believe her recent charade will convince people, but I'm afraid that there just may be enough naive people out there who want to believe her. She's more dangerous in this mode than when she's being her usual Ted Kennedy Clone self!!

I hope this is the case, because I was under the impression that up to this point, blacks have been pretty much on the sidelines during the racist attacks on Rice. At least, I recall a white radio show host calling her an "Aunt Jemima", and then claiming that he had the permission of blacks to do so. Who knows? Maybe the confirmation hearing finally changed their minds.

Thanks for the info...hadn't heard that! Hey we'll take whatever help we can get, right!?! You gotta love it! Yesterday was a bad day news wise with the Iraq death toll, but a good conservative news day with the Press Conference where Bush gave the lib reporters a hard time, and the news that the Dems might have a backlash over their abuse of Condi!
Maybe they took him off the daily fax list.
