Thanks for sending your complaint. I just watched the episode again and it is unbelievably scathing. They've literally called Fox News a bunch of liars, who take payments under the table from the Republican Administration to forward their agenda. They accused ALL Fox reporters of following instructions to report slanted coverage and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Bill O'Reilly was by far the most slandered and demeaned of anyone. He mentioned the CBC on his program tonight, and said he would be dealing with it on tomorrow's program. I don't think CBC has any idea about the can of worms they've opened by doing this documentary.

Rogers carries Fox News in the digital range, It is at channel 197 in Scarborough and Pickering.

The CRTC application and approval was for digital.

I have set my digital converter box to bring up Fox News when I turn it on. I switched to digital service explicitly for the purpose of receiving Fox News.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is upset at the loss of its news... er, propaganda monopoly. It has served for decades as a faithful Liberal Party mouthpiece. Now that Fox News has finally arrived in Canada, it doesn't like the competition. Canadians exposed to non Liberal Party view points? Why, that's heresy! Its un-Canadian! You get it... the CBC dinosaur doesn't understand how to serve customers in an entirely new environment. Canadians will discover an entirely different way of seeing the world with FNC's debut in Canada - which is long overdue.

After years of petitions, complaints and inquiries I was one of many viewers happy to have Fox News approved for viewing in Canada. Ironically enough, the CBC was among those opposing the channel claiming FN to be a threat.

I thought that was beyond ridiculous, portraying the likes of Franken, Rather, etc... as victims of the big bad Fox News. For the record though, Ann Coulter was indeed correct about Canadians participating in the vietnam war. Why bother? Every dollar that a lib spends to buy one of those things (either for themselves or as presents for friends) is a dollar that ISN'T going into the campaign coffers of the various Democrat/Liberal groups.

Personally, I think Conservatives and Republicans should be promoting the device. Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if it was dreamt up by a good capitalistic Conservative entrepreneur as a way to separate Liberal fools from their hard-earned (or maybe not so hard-earned) money ...
