Giuliani (not Juliani) is a liberal. Pro-choice, pro-gay, anti-gun, pro-illegal immigration. He's a patriot, but he's a very liberal patriot. (As opposed to the anti-American scum we're used to.) God bless him for what he did for New York City, th eman is a true hero and visionary, but he makes Schwartzenegger look like Ralph Reed.

Rice needs to hold elective office.

Governors Palwenty and Sanford and, if he can pull a Reagan-esque shift on social issues, Romney are our best hopes. Owens may be climbing back to viability; in spite of his messy divorce and presumed adultery, his approval ratings are back to the high 60s.

The Democrats do have several successful governors, but I'll admit they seem to be imploding. Ed Rendell (PA) drank the Koo-Aid for Kerry; his defense of allowing felon inmates to vote while denying the right to soldiers is gonna be a tough sell. But Phil Bredesem, Mike Easley, and Mark Warner have all maanged to sell themselves in southern, red states.

The good news is that the Dems are so insane, they might pass up real potential winners for ideiological purity. Case in point: They made Vilsack go grovelling to the Reconquistadoras to forgive his lowely gringo ass for thinking learning English is a good idea (killing his chances); Even Bayh seems rejected out of hand; and as Michael Moore demosntrates, the Democrats are too stupid to know Hillary's lying.

I disagree. Governer Owens has too much baggage in his past, and with the media hungry for blood, he'll be demolished.

Condi's useful because #1, she's intelligent, and #2, she can pull minority votes and the Democrats would have to play this with kid gloves or else they would come off looking like even more of the PC plantation they already are. I would put her somewhere on the ticket at least. The fact that the liberal media will call her an aunt Tom will be to our advantage.

BTW, it's not like we haven't had somebody who hasn't held an elective office as President before. There was Ike and I don't think he was that bad of a President.
