The police booking photo:
This is too funny. Notice that Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson didn't care in the slightest that they were separated from these two guys, if they were ever with them. The girls were perfectly happy to get in the car and drive off without them (an assumption on my part, for sure, but I'm not seeing a press release from either of them defending Byrne and LaChapelle).

"During the exchange, Mr. LaChapelle became verbally and physically abusive. My deputy developed enough probable cause to make an arrest," Edmunds said."
"If Mr. LaChapelle believes he's innocent of these charges then he needs to move forward and have his day in court," Edmunds said."
Sounds fair enough to me. Just because you think you are a "star" doesn't make you above the law. Welcome to the real world Mr. Filmmaker!

The incident is an embarrassment to Utah and Park City, asserts LaChapelle's attorney, Jim Bradshaw, who claims Summit County sheriff's deputies acted inappropriately.
"This is a problem, because it raises concerns for people to be able to come [to Utah] and have a good time without being mistreated," Bradshaw said.
Yeah, after reading this story I immediately canceled my travel plans to Utah out of fear this would happen to me as soon as I crossed the state line. </sarcasm>.

"DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM???!!!"
No, Mr. LaChapelle, we don't.

If it had been Dave Chapelle, rather then David LaChapelle, there wouldn't have been any problems.

I remember a "T" shirt in Jackson Wyoming.... "Eat Drink and be merry for tomorrow you'll be in Utah."
I'v come to like the raw beauty of the state and the thought of Paris Hilton being there is revolting.

..on suspicion of disorderly conduct. What the heck kind of charge is that? Either they were disorderly or they weren't. How do you suspect someone of being disorderly? Sounds like one of those deals that allow LEO to harass someone if they care to. I couldn't care less about these jokers but I hate laws like that, and there are many. At anytime, anywhere, any of us could be arrested for breaking some weird and obscure law. Gives government too m uch power.

Most Utah folks have had it with "Fairyland" (What most Utah'ns call Park City).
Not the area, but the invasion of the elitists, Liberals etc. After CommieFord (Redford) tried, with the help of his Satan buddies, to back door more control in the area, the state, (and the church) took notice. I expect Those Commies will gradually slink away into their holes, where they belong.
