One of my favorite lines spoken by one of my favorite actors in one of my favorite movies. I am very familiar with it. But what, pray tell, is the relevance of the rest of that drivel you posted?

I felt that employing illegals with the indirect blessing of our local government which won't cooperate with the National Immigration people, that I was keeping the local economy going....keeping everyone happy....by "being on that wall".

Now it should be as clear as mud to you, right?

I think you make some great points. Are you hooked up to
Hanson's web? He has there some marvelous articles --
that demonstrate his great classical education and his
ability to link it to current events. I would quibble
with one little thing: you linked FDR with JFK. I think
JFK today can be seen as closer to Republicans than to
the Dem. party of 1960: lower taxes, stout anti-communist,
very much opposed to omnipotent government, etc.
