What was posted yesterday was an actual transcription of the Rush Limbaugh show. This is new, thanks for posting it.

Big problem for Bush and the Republicans if they come across as weak on this issue. Notice how Hillary is coming out strong on anti-immigration issues. The last two elections were close enough that if she could pick up a few red states with a strong stand against illegal immigration, they the rest of the republican agenda goes out the window. Likewise with spending. Watch Hillary start talking like a fiscal conservative. And watch the Republicans keep spending money.

Rush hit it on the head with this. I don't think the leadership is taking it seriously enough, but many in the West are concerned about it.

One thing I am SICK OF are the morons who keep blaming the poor schlubs who come across the border, instead of blaming 1. the US government for not doing their job and 2. our NEIGHBORS who hire these people for lanscaping, construction, short order cooks. It aint the "elite" that is the largest employers of illegals, its the small business people in our community, sad to say.

Limbaugh said he was particularly disturbed by statements Friday by Mexico's Foreign Secretary Luis Ernesto Derbez threatening to appeal to international courts a new Arizona law barring illegal aliens from collecting some public benefits.Mexico has joined the axis of evil.

I'd like to see Bush warned on GOVERNMENT SPENDING.
National debt due to hit 8 trillion soon...non defense spending up 12% annually over the past 4 years..
insane.

Heard RUSH on this today.
1. He acted as if this is new - I wrote my Sen & Rep in NY in 1994 and have written various "leaders" since then. Their answers (both R & D) about "illegals" - "We are a nation of immigrants..."
<2>Rush said the American public gets what it wants. We are a Democracy. He said "most" Americans were pro abortion and they got it through the courts. Later, he stated that the liberals get what they want even if it is through court imposed decisions....The man needs help.
I also noted that no one mentions that the AT LEAST 6 million illegals use goods and services, often generated from "off shore" and they also send money "home". Thus we not only support them with our taxes, but "illegals" add to the Balance of Payments Deficit!

Bushon illegal immigration
English as a second language, eh?

BUsh has been firm on this issue, lockstep with Schwartzneggar, since day one. Rush isnt going to change his mind. Its not like it would hurt Bush's re-election chances.

"We cannot maintain our sovereignty without securing and protecting our borders in an era when terrorists around the world seek entry to this country," he said Friday in a private gathering in Florida. Rush with his bully pulpit has been on the air for how many years?
After ignoring this for so long, why now?
To: ovrtaxt
Rush could use this to leverage a pardon-promise from Jeb should the need arise.
I know, I know, I'm so cynical...

But on Monday's program he clarafied the misinterpretations made by worldnet and others .
RUSH: "...if illegal immigrants are now doing jobs that Americans won't do, then the government should increase the level of legal immigration, if that's the case, a legal immigrant or an illegal immigrant is of the same caliber. So if immigrants are doing the work that Americans won't do, then make those jobs filled by legal immigrants and follow the law."
Rush favors either a guest worker program, amnesty, or increasing legal immigration.

And of course this exchange Monday"
RUSH: These same people that are coming in illegally, what would be the difference if those same people were allowed in legally and then you hired them? What would be the difference?
CALLER: Oh, no. I would love it if they were brought in legally.
RUSH: That's all I'm saying.
