Poland's top World Politician of the Year for the third straight year.
Polling agency CBOS asked 1,089 adults between Jan. 7 and Jan. 10 to name the world leaders who most commanded their respect in 2004.
Ukraine's new, reformist President Viktor Yushchenko was second followed by United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.
Poland is one of the United States' most loyal allies in the European Union. Prior to the U.S. elections in November, opinion polls showed Poland to be one of the few countries in the world where people favored Bush over his Democratic rival Sen. John Kerry.

He's a *strategerist*, IMO.
Definitely, NOT a politician.
W's *amnesty-guest worker program* is a horror show.

I was in Krakow last June. They love all things American in that city. I guess 45 years of communism will give people a newfound appreciation of freedom and those who live under it.

People in the world should vote him as the top world politician, as he is the top world politician. Whether they like him or not, he's the only politican the world pay attention closely to. Who else even close to him in that sense?

..."Poland's top World Politician of the Year for the third straight year"...
It really is sad, that it takes a WAR to show just who is our REAL partners in Democracy, Liberty & Freedom. POLAND takes a "beating" in the arena of World Opinion and yet they didn't cut-n-run when WE needed world support. (Poland should have a seat of influence on the UN SECURITY COUNCIL)
And to think, to the Liberal's an endorsement for President Bush, is political SUICIDE.

Most American Presidents are the top world leaders if you are talking about their influence and power.

The only problem is that when they "cross the water" their friends over here convince them to go Dem.
It astonishes me that (at least in the past) they could get so hoodwinked when they got here.

I'd love to see what the Polish communities here did in the election.

The Poles have always been one of our strongest allies. They were solidly with us in WWII and have been ever since. They are hard working, honest people. Just look how they sweated in this country, from the coal mines of PA to the steel mills around the Great Lakes. I love them so much, I married one!
