At some point, someone has to admit the obvious. This shell game is old now. It was old in 1967.

We heard all those criticisms of Colin Powell before this, all the while reading and understanding that this admin keeps its people on a pretty tight leash - as in, a unified message.
But since knocking Bush himself draws a 15 yard penalty, we pretend that the messages we don't like from the State Dept. aren't coming from Bush.

I believe the Bush Administration is going along with the EU on this one.
