Willie, you can bitch and complain all you want and claim that manufacturing is on the decline in the US. But the hard facts are that there was more manufacturing activity in the US in 2004 than 2003. And more in 2003 than in 2002.

No, the hard facts are that manufacturing employment fell from 17.263 million in Y2K to 14.379 million in '04.
That's a loss of 2.884 million jobs (16.7%)
