Liam Cusack, of the toy manufacturer Dragon Models USA, inc., said the image of the soldier portrayed in the photo bore a striking resemblance to the African-American version of its "Cody" action figure.

"It is our doll ... to me it definitely looks like it is," Cusack told The Associated Press. "Everything the guy is wearing is exactly what comes with our figure."

He said the figures were ordered by the U.S. military in Kuwait for sale in their bases, "so they would have been in region."

I wish this hoax had been perpetrated by al queda or some other well-known group. If it had been, that would have been proof enough that the 'insurgency' is broken-backed : If they have to resort to kidnapping toys, they obviously aren't much of a threat any more. This group Mujahedeen Brigades is described as "little known"-which means it might not be terrorists at all, just some Iraqi kids goofing off , trying to see if anyone would fall for it. And wasn't the MSM eager to believe the story! It made them happy to believe a US soldier was in imminent danger of beheading, just so it would hurt GWB.

If Mujahedeen Brigades is a true terrorist group, they'd better run-they've exposed every terrorist group in the area to ridicule. Let us hope that the other groups don't deem it necessary to commit real atrocities to make up for the ridicule.

Can't you see that this is the first attempts at a psy-ops by the terrorists? admittedly crude but they are probably learning as they go. I can hear the voice of the commander of their intelligence outfit saying "we will crush their hearts and minds, the follow up operation of Barbie being raped by Jihad Joe will make all the soldiers lay down their arms tomorrow".

The Fox News and CNN websites have removed the story of the abduction but haven't replaced it with any sort of statement about the hoax. They're embarrassed as hell.
