"In a perverted way, the more of this the better. I want to see the pressure build on Washington to fix our border and illegal problem and they need to feel all the heat possible."
Agreed. It's going to take a high profile tragedy to get anything done.

Time for a little small caliber target practice?

Look, another thread suspiciously absent of the OBL Cheerleaders.
Not only do they approve of illegal aliens, it now seems they approve of them shooting at the border patrol.

This is building to a head. Things cannot continue in this direction and everyone knows it.
Notice how many people have time to sit and post on this forum all day, hour by hour?
Some of them now admit they are not citizens.

We need to get some Marine snipers down there. If we can get a mini-war going down there, perhaps they will close the border at last.

"Would a 155mm barrage in response be appropriate?? anyone ?"
That would work. However; a GE or Dillon Aero Minigun would be more precise and impressive.

Some of them now admit they are not citizens. Yup, and they successfully hide behind their "I fully support President Bush" rhetoric. What moderator would give the boot to a bot?

I'd settle for backup by a few military sniper teams, with weapons-free ROE on anyone firing across the border.
A few pings.

I noticed that too! Could it be a result of folks ignoring them?

Can I ask for an M113 Mounted 20MM Gatling? At least something with twin Ma-Duces.

The Israelis don't have to put up with this crap. Why should we?

You might want to consider spelling out "Border Patrol" in your titles in the future. Not everybody regularly discusses this issue, and my first impression of the title was that some enviro-wackos had shot at some British Petroleum agents.

They beat us at the Alamo, we beat them at the battle of San Jacinto, and now it is two out of three time.
As long as the pandering politicians don't equip them with sniper rifles.

I think a fair deal. No military weapons involved. Only the rifles held by US citizens. Legally of course. Assorted calibers, assorted ranges. Kind of a hodge-podge but I bet damned effective.

I think this is an indication that the border crossings are not as easy as they have been.
It may be the case that the BP is starting to have some success in at least slowing the flow of illegal crossings.
I may just be engaging in wishful thinking.

This once again begs the question; Are landmines really as bad as they're made out out be?
