From bogus surveys designed to promote a hidden liberal agenda to actively promoting liberal causes like gay marriage and the legalization of marijuana, the AARP has become one of America's most active liberal lobbies -- at the expense of seniors and their families. As a result, more and more Americans are standing up to the AARP and saying "enough is enough!" Join the growing grassroots movement and voice your opinion on the AARP!

Before I came to this site I had no idea about the AARP. I thought it was just an organization that offered discounts to retired members. I looked forward to joining it someday. I'm glad people have unveiled the truth to me here.
I told them what I thought about their socialist organizaion many years ago while answering their request for my membership. I used their return envelopes while doing it.
One liberal agenda I personally don't have qualms with is the legalization of marijuana. I'm sure now that I've stated this people will try to persuade me differently.
Legalization of marajuana isn't a "liberal" cause per se although many of them probably agree with it... as do many conservatives and libertarians.
AARP has been non-partisan for most part, and there are issues that seniors need a powerful lobby to help them with.
Yes, I will be flamed but I am not a lemming. And neither should any one of us be lemmings just because some group has a thing against AARP it does not make AARP a lib group, they stuck with Bush and his medicare program and supported it what lib group would have done that?
This AARP is a lib group is nonsense!
if I am totally unaware of them, and consciously avoid reading anything about them, how could I be "tired of it"?
Ignorance is OK, but lying isn't. AARP only puts extreme liberal actors on their magazine cover. Their recent (one time) support of Bush was so unusual it was covered in the liberal press. Open your eyes.
AARP is the tool of elderly greed. Half the wealth in America is owned by those over 65, but that's not enough. They now take 15% of everyone else's payroll. And they want more.
