Yeah, I know plenty of them myself. And I'm not even a PK!

It sounds like the FBI has way too much time on their hands.

Such is the price a minister pays when he is unable to deliver his sermons in understandable Ebonics......

The phrase "War On Drugs" is no metaphor. It is being fought with military funding, equipment, personel, a specific exemption of the posse comitatus act, and with the military objective of to "kill and destroy" rather than the LE objective of "to serve and protect," and there are "acceptable losses" and collateral damage. Peruvian missionary planes shot out of the sky and the wreckage strafed with machine gun fire, people shot in their beds in their home by paramilitary assault squads... The damage extends beyond human lives, too, with the erosion of civil and Constitutional rights far beyond the realm of drug dealing. It is no metaphor at all - it's cold, hard reality.

I hope I'm not wrong in taking consolation in the FBI looking into possible threats of violence.

No matter what...it sounds like any accusation, no matter how wrong, is fodder for causing trouble.

That could be someone's strategy.

"Like the judge on FOX says the government will come after you if they do not like you and there is nothing you can do about it"

They can eve throw in jail, without charge, with out access to an attorney and without notifying anybody that you have been detained.

A member of the his congregation called the FBI and RATed on him. In the end this pastor was inspired.
"In spite of his admitted initial irritation about being questioned by the FBI, Steele said that after his meeting with the two agents, he printed off the two sermons, handed them to the agents and invited them back to his church hoping that as private citizens they might be interested in hearing the Word of God."

If you believe that...you have already lost.

>That twerp should be fined the cost of the investigation and be considered for a charge of wilfull attempt to press false charges, or somesuch<

Why is the "squeeler" described as being a twerp? It could have been an unsympathetic "mature" person bent on deliberately making trouble, or some elderly person who is hard of hearing, misinterpreted what they "heard" and became alarmed. Who knows?

The FBI doesn't have the best track record when it comes to rural churches.

No need to worry about it

Mt 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

In the name of the "War on Drugs" our local police department just got enough full-auto M-16 rifles from the feds to equip the entire department. Now we've got a couple hundred Barney Fifes on the street packing serious firepower in the dashboard racks of their patrol cars -- if they can just figure out which end those little bullets come out of.

Sheesh. Makes me real comfortable routine about traffic stops, I can tell you.

>How many FBI questioning of Imams or Shieks or whatever they are has occured?<

Why it's all about killing Christianity these days. And the Muslims are all for that too - (working hand in hand?)

And the government will make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the FREE exercise thereof; or abridging the FREEDOM of speech,...

Oh, that's so yesterday!

/sarc

Wasn't there a report here the other day concerning some mosques preaching murdering Christians? FBI talked to them? I'll bet no.

But I wonder what twerp reported the good pastor's sermons and quoted him out of context to make it sound like the pastor was advocating violence.

I'd bet good money that is what happened. Also, the idiot was probably there with the intention of finding something to run to the FBI and/or media with.

I agree with you! I am especially glad to see that the FBI is taking every thing seriously, once again. When I was 12 years old, I wrote a letter to Radio Moscow that, essentially, outline the START II agreement. They answered my letter on the air, and shortly thereafter, two FBI agents visited our home looking for me. I never got to talk to them because they left after my mother explained how old I was, and that I was down stairs in the basement playing with my chemistry set. Good thing too, because I believe that was my "aluminium tube filled with match heads" rocket building phase. (Note: Does not work. The match heads burn too quickly, and blow out both crimped ends.)
