a tid bit from the internet:

Background: Lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) is an uncommon sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by Chlamydia trachomatis. This condition is characterized by extremely painful inguinal lymphadenopathy.

Pathophysiology: C trachomatis is an obligate intracellular bacterium. Of the 15 known clinical serotypes, only the L1, L2, and L3 serotypes cause LGV. These serotypes are more virulent and invasive compared to other chlamydial serotypes. Infection occurs after direct contact with the skin or mucous membranes of an infected partner. The organism does not penetrate intact skin. The organism then travels by lymphatics to regional lymph nodes, where they replicate within macrophages and elicit systemic disease. While transmission is predominantly sexual, cases of transmission through laboratory accidents, fomites, and nonsexual contact have been reported.

LGV occurs in 3 stages. The first stage, which is often unrecognized, consists of a rapidly healing, painless genital papule or pustule. The second stage, consisting of painful inguinal lymphadenopathy, occurs 2-6 weeks after the primary lesion. The third stage, which is more common in women, may occur many years after the original infection and is characterized by proctocolitis.

And they'll be very quick to try and say that "it's not a gay disease."

And like AIDS they'll demand billions be spent finding a cure so that they can continue practicing their "lifestyle" consequence free.

I think they left out the part about exploding body parts.

You mean gerbils can contract this too? The horror.

"minimize risky sexual behaviors?" Are you kidding me? The whole gay lifestyle is irresponsible and risky. Look at the damn statistics; gays are not monogamist people.

Well, aids didn't deter them. Why would this new one? There seems to be a cure for this one so that they can become even more promiscuous and deviant.

From CDC website desribing initial group of men studied in the Netherlands - really groovy group of guys!

Preliminary evaluation determined that all the patients were white and that, among the 30 MSM whose HIV status was known, 23 (77%) were HIV positive. Other preliminary findings suggested that concurrent sexually transmitted infections were prevalent and that the majority had participated in casual sex gatherings (e.g., "leather scene" parties) and unprotected anal intercourse or other unprotected anal penetration (e.g., fisting) during the 12 months before onset of symptoms.

From same website, a compilation of common symptoms:

Only one patient, with onset of illness in April 2003, had symptoms usually associated with LGV (i.e., inguinal adenopathy [buboes] and a painful genital ulcer) (3); all other patients had gastrointestinal symptoms (e.g., bloody proctitis with a purulent or mucous anal discharge and constipation).

This disease is curable with antibiotics. Let me be the first to predict that because of the nature of the homosexing population, this bug will rapidly become antibiotic resistant, meaning it may be untreatable in the not-too-distant future.

Thanks for the find, kipita:

While transmission is predominantly sexual, cases of transmission through laboratory accidents, fomites, and nonsexual contact have been reported.

For those who don't know, spread through "fomites" means you can get it off the toilet seat, a dirty towel, or any other such object. This is much different from HIV which is blood-borne. It's a scary world out there.

what really gets me most about all, or any of this is, it was a goal of the communists to see it all happen..

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch."

Communist Puked it out, and the hippies drank it down, then became senators
