Missile's Mysterious Details
Two days after Al-Jazeera aired video of what it said was Iraqi terrorists, firing a missile into that British plane that crashed on Sunday killing 10 on board. New Scientist magazine, quoting defense experts now say the video is almost certainly, "bogus."
The magazine says the pointed shape of the missile and its trajectory indicated it was a surface-to-surface missile, not surface to air missile. And the magazine says it seems missile footage was just stuck in the tape in front of wreckage video with no actual connection.
This would be the second apparent terrorist hoax in as many days. Yesterday an Islamist Web site posted a photo of what it claimed was an American soldier held hostage and threatened to kill him. But no American soldiers have been reported missing. And an American toy maker noticed that the soldier was a ringer for its Special Ops action figure, "Cody."

Poor insurgents. The only way they can try to convince people that they're still on top is by producing bogus information. Hmm... kind of reminds me of something.

It's nice to know they can count on millions of dollars in free advertising from the idiot "liberals" around the globe, too.
But "liberals" aren't liberal. They're a bunch of Stalinist freaks without the sense to know any better.

It's good news if the terrorists are resorting to 'Godzilla' quality mock ups and taking GI Joes hostage.

Is it just me, or does there seem to be fewer reports of violence in Iraq since Sunday?

Looks like the jihadists are getting desperate. When they have to fake attacks and kidnappings, and use mentally handicapped children as suicide bombers, you know things are getting rough for them.
Excellent.

You will have to compare thread post times with gunsnet.net
Worldnetdaily gave credit to gunsnet. The guys over there contacted Drudge.
BTW, I have the same handle over there...

The magazine says the pointed shape of the missile and its trajectory indicated it was a surface-to-surface missile
there were unconfirmed report that the missile used was homing anti-tank missiles against C-130 that was flying at low altitude. In the past, there have been use of RPG-7 against helicopters. I don't know if anti-tank missiles could hit a wing aircraft, but that does not omit that ground to ground weapons could hit flying aircrafts. It is hard but happened with RPG-7 hitting helicopters.
