The China Threat

We MUST continue to fight terror. We must kill the bad guys, destroy their financial and logistical lifelines, and we must win.

We are at war. It is a war against terrorism. We are fighting an enemy that is not a geographic eight-digit grid coordinate or a specific tin pot dictator in a funny hat. It is a real and imminent threat to our national security and our way of life.

"China recognizes they cannot defeat the U.S militarily NOW. However, they don't intend to pick a fight NOW. They (by their written word, plans, and actions) are preparing for what they see as the inevitable future confrontation. A confrontation that will take place at a time when China IS prepared, and the U.S. is not."

Jeff head's DRAGON'S FURY SERIES is a great novel series about this frightening eventuality that keeps moving higher on China's list of things to do.

I would argue the terrorists are an 8 digit grid coordinate. The muslims are playing a game with us and we are the fools. The Saudis still preach hatred and send it over seas and to America. Most other muzzie countries continually show their hatred for Jews overtly and for Christians overtly and covertly. As General Sherman said; "they want war, lets give em all they want"!!!

Thank you B4. You have Fremail.

With each passing day, as we watch what transpires around us, it is more and more clear that the Red Chinese are planning for and preparing for war with us...just as they have said they would.

I wrote the DRAGON'S FURY SERIES to warn about just this possibility.

Do you know why we keep China abreast in the latest? By the way your date is wrong.

President GHWBush decided he would obey the UN Directorate and "share sophisticated technology with neighbor States" (States is the UN term for Country, then Clinton made damn sure the Republicans weren't going to outstep him and on the story goes.

There has not been a war in the past 100 years that we have not made darn sure the enemy was stocked with the basic necessities before they attacked.

Stupidity or intentional? That is for each of us to decide for ourselves.

Wars create immediate need. Wars give boosts to manufacturing techniques and new products that wouldn't come about for a couple of more decades if left to the normal fiscal flow of corporations.

The cost is in human lives which don't seem to have much value any more. We casually kill them before they even get the chance to breathe our contaminated air.

You saw the definite eventuality a year before most of us did.

Who has been supplying China with cutting edge technology weapons systems since the early 1990s? ISRAEL. China's #2 weapons supplier.

I know that isn't a subject anyone in here wants to deal with, but we've got to get a handle on it. None of us wants to see the Palis defeat Israel, but I don't like having an "ally" that we treat so well stab us in the back so deeply and repeatedly. Their actions are worse than that of France or Germany - at least those two are in the open about it. And to make matters worse, the technology they've transferred most likely came to them FROM US.

What to do about China

Arm Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan with advanced weapons. Not only does this take care of China, but also North Korea.

Yes China "will be" (read: already is) our biggest future OPFOR. Dual-use technologies must be banned.... What about those recently converted planes in the "news" ? ... The last thing we need to support is a Chinese version of AWACS and/or JSTARS, let alone any ChiCom satellite "overhead" capability.... All concerned US parties should face serious time behind bars, overseas, in friendly countries that have, shall we say, "different" laws on the books concerning "interrogation" and other techniques, etcetera.. Maybe applicable laws can be carefully examined and 'surprise' RAIDS and arrests escalated? ...

No more dual-use exports allowed by anyone directly or indirectly.... You sell it to China; you pay the price for the rest of your (forgotten) life.

If this global battle ends in the Middle East (and/or the Pacific) with China trying to "take us out", will we finally wake up to the value of our advanced technology as it applies to the battlefield? The time is NOW to isolate China from any and all high-tech "dual use" equipment.

We need to isolate all companies and all personnel directly and indirectly involved in the technology transfer process (to China) and start getting really "serious" as a State before it is too late

I like the idea but......... We are making darn sure that we can't afford an arms race with Haiti, let alone China.

We'll, Bush needs to grow a Ronald Regan backbone and win an arms race with China. If Reagan could do it to the Soviet Union, surely we can do the same to China.

President Bush (41), father of current President George W. Bush (43), at the request of then Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Colon Powell, willingly dismantled and removed from America's arsenal forever, the most powerful battlefield nuclear weapon ever designed. That's right, Cohen's Neutron bomb.

So what! Say the contemporaries of modern war. Surely we are well enough equipped militarily that this one element of battlefield prowess is insignificant at best….right?

Wrong!

G H W Bush once stated that Clinton's policy toward China was "Just about right."

G H W Bush pushed Congress for renewing China's "Most Favored Nation" trading status.

Always look inside your house for problems before spending anytime looking outside. Us republicans have done more to help China than the Dims ever did.

Well, I will be blessed not to be here, I'm too old, I would not want to be here to see that kind of confrontation. Guess I'll just watch.

Remember Japans 1st strike 12/7/41? Did we immediately return fire? No, we went to Europe to fight the Germans.

Who are we going to go after when China makes their 1st strike? Russia?
