I want to know, why are all stories about women cheating made to feel 'not-so-bad' because the women have 'reasons' to cheat?

Like they have some excuse, because they weren't lavished with enough attention or money or whatever.

When a guy does it, he's just a dirty sex-crazed maniac. But for the women, there's these deep psychological needs.

Double standard, bigtime.

It's the Bridges of Madison County effect. When women cheat it's often glamorized or rationalized. When men cheat, it's because they're pigs.
