I don't care for his style of schtick, so it matters not to me if he is on or aff the air.

A one trick pony becomes very boring, very quick.

Phil is pretty funny, but when I'm up that late, Coast to Coast is the only choice.

Scair America is on that station now...it was much better as XTRA Sports 690/1150. I hope people aren't turning to 1150, expecting to hear Jim Rome and the like.

He did a show during the campaign -- the "guest" was a democratic consultant who promised that, when John Kerry became President, Kerry would never miss an opportunity to remind the American people that his black appointees were -- BLACK PEOPLE.

He said, "If John Kerry appoints someone like Condolezza Rice to his cabinet, every time he introduces her he'll say "And now we'll hear from Ms. Rice -- and by the way, she's black!"

The 'consultant' claimed that Bush was insulting black people by failing to make a bigger deal about the fact that his black appointees are black -- but that John Kerry won't make that mistake!

You can imagine the very-excited black listeners who called in to the show.

I have wondered how he has managed to stay on the air. A long time ago he seemed to be running out of variations on the same theme.

Phil is a genius with his voices. The quality of his material often does not match his talent.

Trying to wrap my mind around the concept that a show could be worse than coast to coast.

You could try what is called (I think) The John and Jeff Show, broadcast late in Boston on WTRK, the Fm talk station that carries Laura Ingraham. Dumb-s**t 20-somethings who apparently know nothing but bad TV shows and beer. It could be even worse. When I've found it by accident, I've never been able to stand it more than 15 seconds.

I'll find him.

He is a genius.

Sick and twisted -- but a genius nonetheless.

I'll say this for him, he has been one of the most outspoken defendents of the WOT.

His reasoned approach to the necessity of the war has been flawless.

I, personally, don't care for the humor, and I know he has a liberal stand on most matters, but when I've caught him discussing the war, I've been impressed.
