Preaching optimism and slamming Democrats, conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh was greeted like a rock star by a packed San Jose Civic Auditorium audience Tuesday night.
``We are in the midst of a seminal historic shift in this country,'' Limbaugh, 54, told a crowd that paid $40 a ticket and welcomed him with a standing ovation. ``The Democrat party and the media have lost their monopoly. They don't rule the roost anymore.''
Other than one swear word and a slightly off-color story about Sen. Ted Kennedy's sex life, his fare was largely that of his radio show -- the country's most popular with some 20 million listeners.

Thanks Budman!
I loved his TV show! Remember the reporter he sent around to Washington events like the WH Correspondents Dinner? He also did man-on-the-street interviews like Jay Leno. The reporter always wore a trench coat and hat, like an old private eye. Man, those were funny!
One time, he got kicked out of one of Clinton's press conferences...or was it the daily briefing? And he filmed the whole thing. LOL!
Man, Who's that BABE???
Why, that's the woman who graffiti-ed your shirt! The nerve!

I'm saving it for when the mobile piercing/tattoo truck comes by to have her message permatized...
I finally got my camera to cough up some of it's goodies.
More later...
Excellent :-)
It did, didn't it?
His humor did really show through all during the evening.
Grate backdrop for him...
Rush making a point.
Rush without my glasses on...
awwwwwww.....you guys have all the fun. :-(
I did have an extra ticket though.
And Melanie signed my Freeper W2 Ball shirt when she was through here:
LOL
Yea, it's now signed too!
Shoot that last picture I forgot to resize, I guess I better do that. It is GIANT
The front of the shirt is really cool...A grate logo and personalized.
:-) I will treasure mine as a momento from the grate W2 Ball, and from the grate friend who gave it to me.
I just had to buy this poster Tuesday night, there was just something about it that caught my eye...LOL
CCC and I were looking at the poster for a few minutes, and this guy said "Isn't that a cool 1959 Corvette?"
C3 and I looked at each other and then at him and said "There's a car in the picture?"
Oh I know why I bought it...the $20 goes to Move America Forward...
:-)
LOL!! Now, what could that have been? ;-)
ergh. Rush. Like his content. Hate his style. Rush, go home, dude.
