The White House has gotten caught participating in this, and they need to make a statement and lay it to rest.Participating in what? A reporter writes under an assumed name. He isn't the first and he won't be the last to do so.

Two words: Mark Twain.
With Algore's invention of the Internet, we're seeing a paradigm shift in the media, away from the centralized, supposedly impartial mass media model of the late 20th century, back to the more overtly partisan media model of the 18th and 19th centuries. In those days, the use of pseudonyms were the rule, not the exception for political reporters. Like Samuel Clemens.
I have no problem with this, as long as the media outlet's biases are overt and we can read between the lines. Talon News has never claimed to be as impartial as... say... CBS...
Why are Freepers defending this Gay pornographer?
Care to offer any proof that Jeff Gannon is gay or a pornographer, other than that his website was registered by the same company as some gay porn sites?

Participating in what? A reporter writes under an assumed name. Having him in the press area under a fake name, knowing that the name being used was, in fact, fake.
He isn't the first and he won't be the last to do so.
Do you have information about other reporters who have gotten into the White House under false names?
