February 10, 2005 -- JERUSALEM Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed terror group, is trying to sabotage the Mideast peace momentum by sponsoring terrorist attacks and threatening the life of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, it was disclosed yesterday.
Abbas dispatched a delegation to Lebanon yesterday to ask Hezbollah leaders to drop their opposition to the fragile truce.

Good hunting.
THat terrorist financing pig deserves a thousand deaths.
Oh well....just means he ain't radical enough for them, and his "cease fire" (read that as "stop to reload") isn't enough of a ploy to dupe Israel. Let Iran take ol' Abu Mazen out. Saves having Israel have to do it later.
More reason to think about taking care of Iran sooner, rather than later.
I hold out a 10 percent hope that a popular palestinian authority will unite with Israel against the terrorists. Maybe not in this generation, though.
Dissention within the ranks ? I suppose the best thing to do is stand back and admire them from afar.
The only way it seems , is to take all these terrorists organizations out. Or at least widdle on there a$$e$ for awhile .
Arabs don't want peace. It takes them out of the international spotlight. They will have nothing to complain about. Right now they are using the Is/Pal confict as a reason to develop nukes, and keep a steady flow of money into the region. If this conflict is resolved then all this will be gone. Without violence , arabs would not know what to do with themselves. Blood and violence is a very lucrative biz.
Mara Liasson was so sure last night that Abbas had the people behind him!! :^D
Hmmm...some people have opined on different websites that M. Abbas is actually Mabus (Nostradamus fame).
well given Abbas's other moves to date, I think it is ballsy for him to publicly challenge Hezbollah regardless of whether its a ploy or not
the jury is still out but Abbas has at least appeared to make more constructive moves in a few weeks than Arafat in decades, like immediately firing his Gaza commanders after the mortar attacks yesterday
now in the PA is a firing really a firing like is an arrest really arrest? but still.....
I mean the only thing Arafat ever did I liked was tell Al Queda to back off and not stick their nose in his business because Al Queda could really make it interesting if they did (they likely already are but at a very low level so far)
of course this is because Arafat is a control freak but AQ could have taken offence, given most Islamists think Arafat was a sell out.....

I wish 'em luck;
it should always be open-season on ex-terrorists.
