9-11 professor trained terrorists (Churchill Alert)

The University of Colorado professor under fire for calling victims of the 9-11 attacks "Little Eichmans," reportedly trained a domestic terror group.

Ward Churchill taught the revolutionary group the Weathermen how to make bombs and fire weapons, according to a Fox News report citing the Jan. 18, 1987 issue of the Denver Post.

The revelation is among many reported since Churchill prompted a national furor with publicity of an essay he wrote titled "Some People Push Back: On the Justice of Roosting Chickens."

Written shortly after the Sept. 11 attacks, it describes the thousands of American victims who died in the World Trade Center inferno as "little Eichmanns" -- a reference to notorious Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann -- who were perpetuating America's "mighty engine of profit." They were destroyed, he added, thanks to the "gallant sacrifices" of "combat teams" that successfully targeted the World Trade Center towers and the Pentagon.

The Weathermen were founded by members of the SDS. They took their name from a Bob DYlan song..."you don't need a wheatherman to know where the wind blows". More moderate or less radical SDS members who opposed terrorism responded by saying "and you don't need a protologist to know who the a$$holes are."

Yes, I'm old enough to remember. My disdain for this prof is getting stronger....even when I didn't think it was possible.

So not only did he visit Libya's Khaddafi, he was Weatherman, too?

This creep's a terrorist himself, no wonder he sided with the 9/11 terrorists.

Looks like Churchill's terrorist pals are also comfortably ensconced in the halls of academia:

Bill Ayers was a central figure in the Weather Underground. Ayers is currently a school reform activist and a professor of education at the University of Chicago at Illinois.

Bernardine Dohrn was part of the leadership of the Weather Underground and considered the figurehead of the organisation. She spent the 1970s living underground and was on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list. Today, Dohrn runs a juvenile justice program at Northwestern University.

Todd Gitlin was president of Students for a Democratic Society in 1963. He has written extensively on the Weather Underground and the 1960s counterculture. He is a professor of culture, journalism and sociology at New York University.

Naomi Jaffe was a member of the Weather Underground. She currently lives in Albany, New York and is executive director of a foundation that supports women's activism.

Mark Rudd was famous for his role in the 1968 Columbia protests. As part of the Weather Underground's leadership, he lived underground for several years during the 1970s. He now teaches at a junior college in New Mexico.

And he is, quite likely, less Indian than I am. And I'm a white boy.

Ward Churchill is a first rate a$$. I respect his right to spew this crap, but he, and his whack job supporters need to understand that there are consequences to making such statements. UC is taxpayer funded, and if public opinion dictates, he should be fired, and sent to France. It scares me that some people actually believe what this idiot says.

I have been saying he is a dangerous terrorist for a long time. And where is his creepy friend lawyer-on-the-lam Lee Hill?

Hill tried to manipulate/mislead the investigation into the murder of JonBenet Ramsey. He was also in AIM--Leonard Peltier's lawyer.

churchill had black hair in the 80s.

now his hair is brown and grey.

i wonder if he dyed it in the '80s to get his job and maintain his indian persona?

I wonder where he learned to make bombs, because his military training was in running a film projector. This is probably just another lie he told someone to sound like a bad ass.

They were moving explosives.

He's been associated with AIM, which was active during the same time (early 70's).

You're correct, of course. It's just that WC is such a poseur I don't put it past him to lie about being directly involved in terrorist activities in order to gain credibility with the Indian community and leftist academia. Look at his lies about his military service. Anyways, here's an article on David Yeagley's website that give some information about WC's role in AIM I hadn't heard before: http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:ZRB5KWthn68J:badeagle.com/index.shtml+AIM,+Churchill&hl=en&start=5

Most Indians can't stand him. It is the Indians who have been exposing him for years. Indians don't want someone who likes 9-11 to speak for them.

Ward Churchill IS Colorado AIM.

An article posted here today said that when he visited Gaddaffi he was accompanied by Russell Means's son. In other words, he was a high-level AIM ambassador, evidently.
