"If just 60,000 more people in Ohio had voted Democratic, McAuliffe ruefully notes, he'd be picking up orders from President Kerry and heading for a new job as ambassador to Great Britain. A tweak here, a TV ad there, and the Democrats are back in business."
this is great spin. How many people do you know who voted for Bush who just as easily could have voted for Kerry. Anywhere close to 60,000? In Ohio?
Didn't think so. This is such a pipe dream.
No more killing. Period.
Women being forced to have babies they don't want? No. Women not getting pregnant when they don't want to. Don't want kids ever? Go get sterilized. I'd pay good tax money for that.
Women offering up unwanted babies to orphanages? Sure. It's better than killing them. Or participate in the many private programs out there that facilitate adoptions. Pick the best parents you can for the child. There are many couples who are willing to adopt.
What's wrong with administering medication (birth control) that makes contraception impossible? Suffice it to say that if your beliefs allow you to do this then by all means, do it. But please do it *before* you engage in sexual activity, not after. The problem is there is no contraceptive method that is 100% guaranteed, aside from abstinence.
