Dean Loves Newt, Hates Clintons
NewsMax ^ | 2/14/05 | Carl Limbacher

Posted on 02/14/2005 7:35:45 PM PST by wagglebee

This weekend, NewsMax's Insider Report broke the story about the feud within the Democratic Party between the Clintons and the Kennedy-Kerry wing. The Kennedy-Kerry wing hijacked the party in 2004 - and it spelled disaster for the Democrats.

But Democratic leaders who lean far-left don't see it that way - and they played a key role in backing Howard Dean.

Dean would not have gotten the DNC nomination without backing from the Kennedy-Kerry faction.

In fact, as Dean locked up the nomination, Kerry revealed that he was donating $1 million to the DNC for Dean's use.

Kerry went one step further last week by sending an e-mail to his 3 million supporters.

Kerry states: "Join me with a contribution of your own to show the incoming DNC chair - former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean - that you want to support organizing in your community."

The big story is that the election of Dean to head the DNC is a big blow to Hillary Clinton and her 2008 ambitions.

Dean makes no bones about his dislike of the Clintons, whom he blames for his disastrous primary showing.

This past week, U.S. News and World Report's "Washington Whispers" noted that Dean "admires Newt Gingrich more than he does Bill Clinton."

U.S. News cites Fox News correspondent Major Garrett, who spoke with Dean for Garrett's book "The Enduring Revolution: How the Contract With America Continues to Shape the Nation."

Dean credits Gingrich for having "created a real success for the right wing."

The magazine adds, summing up Dean's view, "Clinton, meanwhile, led the Dems into complacency and defeat."

I am very hopeful that Dean's election will be one of the final chapters in the pathetic history of the Democrat party.

Dean accidentally spouts something that sounds sensible. I guess that's news.

Isn't this donation part of the several million sKerry has left over from his presidential campaign?
I think it is.

As I recall, JFinKerry held back $13M from his campaign that he didn't spend. This is a small part of that. He is saving the rest because she won't let him mortgage the town house, again.

Dean "admires Newt Gingrich more than he does Bill Clinton."

So he hates Bill Clinton, but he only strongly dislikes Newt. Big deal. Dean's still a stark-raving mad lunatic who will be the next nail in the coffin for the democrap party.

Amen. I'm willing to bet that Howie won't last much beyond the '06 elections. Hitlery will see to that.

I think Soros has probably switched his funding to Eurosocialism, they are much more receptive to his insanity.

Folks, Where is Howard Dean, the newly appointed Chairman of the DNC? No TV face time over the weekend and tonight. I guess the DNC wants to keep their new boy in the closet. Can't trust "The Scream" in public. Wonder when the MSM is going to demand that Mr. Dean show his face on the cable/news/talk shows?

Very good question. Please let me know if you find out. That will say a lot about which way the wind will blow for the Dims.

Howard Dean is a man-child curiousity to me....The man has no sense of himself.

Emotionally unstable, thin-skinned and the potential to absolutely bury that party into the ground with just one ill-advised slip of the tounge. This man represents a collective gamble for a party that's too drunk on rage to bother with honest introspection....Long overdue.

But he's a blessing around here. He's good for business.

So...how did he really slide past Bill and Hill? This whole "great divide" in the party makes no sense if we really believe that Hillary is the heir apparent and controls most of the money of the party.
