Washington, D.C. (CNSNews.com) - David Brock, a former investigative reporter for conservative publications before flipping his political ideology and writing a book titled, "Blinded by the Right," said Monday that the best way for liberals to expose the current conservative influence in the media is to show how conservatives are "simply willing to lie."
Brock is currently the president and CEO of Media Matters for America, a liberal media watchdog that takes on some of the biggest names in conservative media. In authoring the 2002 book, "Blinded by the Right, The Conscience of an Ex-Conservative," Brock not only distanced himself from the conservative movement, he disclosed his homosexuality.
Monday, he noted examples of how the "professional" or "mainstream media" are influenced by conservative talk radio, the Internet and think tanks. That influence, Brock said, will diminish as the conservative "lies" are exposed.
"The conservatives seem to be particularly vulnerable because the quality of their research is particularly low. There is typically self-interested money behind it and of course they are simply willing to lie," Brock told a group of interns at a luncheon at the Center for American Progress headquarters in Washington D.C.
Brock urged the young media activists to challenge what he views as the conservative media bias.
"I think that all of that has to be confronted in a systemic way. If you shine light on propaganda over time, it does cease to have an effect," Brock said. "Their words can be used against them. The fact that the claims that they make are often dubious can also be brought up in a very effective way," he added.

Totally off topic, but I knew a home schooled boy who was a very good hockey player, and we all know if you are good on the ice you are called some wonderful names to get under your skin and get you upset, so the normally insulated boy was exposed to new words.
One day one of his friends was accused by parents of calling an other boy a faggot and he came to his defense and said he did not, but even if he had it was no big deal because he had looked the word up in the dictionary because he had been called one many times during a game, and it meant a bundle of wood or sticks. He had looked up the word with one g in the spelling, his mother sent him back to look up the word with 2 g's in the spelling. Until that point he had been a very clean player never getting into a fight....that was the end of that.
Brock is willing to lie to get a man in bed.

It's very difficult to confront "that kind of thing" when Kerry won't release his records and what he has posted on the net contains such puzzling details indicating that the record has been heavily massaged.
Again, you continue to push the illogical canard that genetic ethnicity and voluntary sexual behavior are identical phenomena.

What you need to do is come up with a coherent case for your strange contention that being of African descent and being a sodomite are synonymous.

There are other situations in which conservative spokespersons "lie" is a similar matter in that they make unqualified statements and expect the listener to be a mind reader and understand the qualifications in the speaker's mind.
My point is that apart from the morality, it backfires on these spokespersons. They would be more effective four our cause if they did not "lie".

You have implied three or four times now that there is no categorical or moral distinction between a person's ethnicity and their voluntary actions.
There is no equation between the two - your attempt to conflate the real civil rights struggle of black Americans and the disingenuous yet aggressive campaign for social hegemony by sodomites is simply dishonest propaganda.
