But after protests from gay rights groups, director Heike Kueck said the zoo was abandoning the plan... Gay groups had protested against "the organised and forced harassment through female seductresses" in an open letter to Bremerhaven Mayor Joerg Schulz and called on him to stop the program.
Yes Virginia, there IS a homosexual agenda. The homosexual community opposes ex-gay humans, so we shouldn't be surprised that they'd be against ex-gay penguins, too. This is another example of them stopping or twisting scientific research to suit their agenda.
These people are pathetic.

The zoo, which promotes itself with the slogan "encounters of a special kind",...Did they adopt this slogan before or after they discovered they had gay penguins?

"i suppose that they're better off dying out than being straight?"The homos don't care about that. They just want to somehow justify their own perverted behavior. They can point to the penguins and say, "See! Homosexuality occurs naturally in animals!"
Yeah, right.

If these zoo keepers were smart they would go ahead and save the species without the PR.

"The relationships were obviously too serious," Ms Kueck said of the same-sex penguin couples. Instead of flirting with the opposite sex, they seemed to prefer sitting on the stones, which substitute for the eggs they will never be able to lay. Sad - we will leave these penguins longing for children they will never have sitting on stones that will never hatch in the name of political correctness.
Actually, that's the approach we seem to have taken with humans who suffer from this disorder. Shout down the ex-gay movement and leave human homosexuals longing for the bond they can never find in the name of political correctness.
Shalom.

That clip just cracks me up. What's probably even more funny is the original where the penguin just falls over for no apparent reason.

Come out of the bathroom and admit it. You're homonausic. If you are both homonausic then you need to join the Bigot and Redneck Alliance Against Defamation (BRAAD). We used to have a chapter on FR but JR asked us to cease.
The motto is, "We're here. We're intolerant. And we'll kick your a$$."
Shalom.

A German zoo has abandoned a plan to break up homosexual penguin couples after protests from gay rights groups. ROTFLMAO -Maybe this where the dems could finally crown themselves victor, gain victories, lead dumb constituents, and easily overcome any opposition -the animal kingdom?

I'm more and more convinced that there is a finite amount of intelligence in the world and that as the number of people goes up, the amount of per-capita intelligence goes down. Close. My theory is that intelligence must be maintained. If you skip the maintenance the intelligence wears away. The greater the population, the more you wear it away and the more maintenance it requires. Unfortunately, it requires the intelligent to maintain it and so ...
Shalom.

I think that nothing about this would upset me if the broader scientific community were as upset about the threat here to the scientific process as they are on issues of creationism/ID. The threat to the species is one issue, the threat to the ability to garner knowledge through experimentation without political pressure is something else.
There appears to be a certain pattern here where if attempts to shut down science are made by gay rights groups or outraged feminists (think Lawrence Summers) they are somehow justified. Politically contingent science is weak science.

A 55 gallon drum would probably be a better choice.

I love animals....I really do. But I sure wish people would stop trying to assign human emotions and behaviors to them.
Animals don't think and reason like people do and "what" they do shouldn't be compared to human behavior, IMO.
This "gay animal" agenda is a bunch of hooey!

Something profound that someone just pointed out to me.
There's a lesson and a warning to be had here about these people and their values system. Let's look at what they have said to us:
It is important to be politically correct,
even if the price is the extinction of the entire race.

Who are these people who sit around searching these ridiculous causes, so they can call up the activists to protest them?? Is this what their whole life consists of? Searching the world far a wide for any hint of something....... anything .......that might be construed as "homosexual"? Then call in the activists?
You're right, that IS what male penguins do. Do they not also, only mate at certain times of the year? As far as I know, and according to everything I have read, animals, unlike homosexual humans, are not completely obsessed with sex. For most animals, it's about procreation.
