What do you think of my idea of quietly encouraging revolution there? Their leaders are so corrupt that I fear that this may be the only way to restore Mexico.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but that standard of living now requires two incomes to be maintained. Entry-level wages have not kept up with inflation, partially due those very wages being depressed by an over abundant labor pool.
Oh please. He has presented his "guest worker" plan a dozen times over. And everytime he does it on the national stage, Border Patrol reports an increase in illegal crossings. Maybe you missed it. No, wait, you've actually argued for it on these threads. Nevermind.

Then tell us the differences between Tancredo's plan (which was introduced last term as legislation) and Bush's plan which you claim to know what the details of which will be.
You have a bad habit of putting words in other posters mouths. I didn't say I know the details of Bush's plan, only that he has repeatedly told us about his plan.
I have no clue as to Tancredo's legislation. But I do realize that just the talk of this is putting more pressure on the Border Patrol, the surrounding communities, and American citizens. The idea that a mass exodus is going to occur so illegals can apply in their native country is absurd. Even more ridiculous is the idea they will just up and leave at the end of their permits, especially with anchor babies in place.
All this happy talk about a "guest worker" program is going to keep exasperating the border problems. It will do nothing to stop the millions that are coming. But then, you know that.
"Don't have a choice...?
The victim mentality at work here.
So, what you are saying is then that the same crap should be started on the new thread so that this one gets pulled too...and the choice of NOT starting the fight again is somehow not available to the poster?
What is it?
