THIS IS TOTALLY AWESOME GRAFFITTI!!!!
2003 Freedom*Rock ( In Rural Iowa) ^ | Summer 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 | Ray "Bubba" Sorensen

Posted on 02/17/2005 5:02:28 AM PST by Robert Drobot

There is a huge rock near a gravel pit on Hwy.25 in rural Iowa. For generations, kids have painted slogans, names, and obscenities on this rock, changing it's character many times. A few months back, the rock received it's latest paint job, and since then it has been left completely undisturbed. It's quite an impressive sight. Scroll down and check out the multiple photos (all angles) of the rock. It seems the flag was draped over the rock, but it's not. It's actually painted on the rock too.

Here's the artist Ray "Bubba" Sorensen.

Directions to the Freedom*Rock

Approx. 37 miles west of Des Moines on Highway 25 approx. 1 mile south of Interstate 80 (exit 86) & 12 miles north of Greenfield, Iowa.

It seems Ray "Bubba" Sorensen re-paints "Freedom*Rock" each year. His website, Freedom*Rock ( In Rural Iowa ) has separate links to his work on Freedom*Rock for 2001 through 2004.

A labor of love and patriotism - in rural Iowa.

God bless Ray "Bubba" Sorensen, and God bless America.

sigh.....how does such a state send the likes of harken to the senate.

I always think of Iowa as heartland.

I'll let Mr. Sorensen's Freedom Rock speak for itself.

Thank you Robert Drobot.

Ray "Bubba" Sorensen

W restored honor to the White House.

Bubba Sorenson restores honor to the name "Bubba," and to a certain little rock.

I can't even draw convincing stick figures, so when someone draws something that actually looks like what they're attempting to draw, I am awestruck and envious.

This Sorensen fellow is simply a freak of nature as far as I'm concerned. And I'm exceedingly joyous that he uses his freakishness for "goodness" instead of "badness".

"I'll let Mr. Sorensen's Freedom Rock speak for itself."

" Thank you Robert Drobot."

I'll second that statement.

What a country!
Long-haired, flea infested dope-smoking "professors" around the edges and this type of activity for fun in the interior.

Time for another envigorating and re-energizing trip to the interior...
God Bless the U.S.A.

Hope that's guarded somehow. We seem to have an influx of disturbed Dims (is that redundant?) these days...
