I'm already committed to a lifelong boycott of everything from the land of the Marquis de Sade. I'm just sorry I wasted an entire semester at Brigham Young University learning French (back in '99).

I boycott boycotts, but generally just ignore France anyway.

They take pride in being boycotted by us anyway....

France has a pretty large muslim population and its growing. it won't be long until they start having terror problems of their own. THEN they'll be on board. But it could be too late for them...

So if France supports and harbors a terrorist group such as Hezbollah then does that not make France subject to the terms of the 'Bush Doctrine'?

Chirac basically sold his soul to Satan: he has made anti-Americanism the rallying point for his regime and he dare not throw it away now.

There will be no improvement whatsoever until he has left office. But even then I'm not sure it will improve any time soon.

Regards, Ivan

I can't think of even one purchase we have made in the past two years that is manufactured or distributed by a French company.

We avoid all French wine (which apparently many people do, since there is such a surplus, they want to turn it into industrial products). We buy American, Australian and Chilean wine.

French cars are practically non-existent. Clothing? No real influence anymore. Foods...nothing necessary nor especially desirable. Entertainment? Nope. Presidential candidate? No way! Even avoiding Heinz catsup, soup and whatever...even Ore Ida potatoes.

Jeez! Come to think of it, a boycott of anything French is practically effortless!

"I'm already committed to a lifelong boycott..."

Likewise. I check the "made in" tag on everything and will never buy French again if I can help it. Good on O'Reilly....

I never stopped - and I never will. And I wasted 3 years in high school on French, so don't feel alone. But think of it this way - we always need someone who understands the language of the enemy....

This is a pissing match between CNN and OReily.

CNN called to end the boycott, (which corp wants access to france?). OReily, thus fox, calls to continue to punish france.

Who will america listen to?

CNN who?
