I believe that ALF is the activist arm of PETA.

ALF is to PETA as the IRA is to Sinn Fein. PETA is the political wing of the terrorist organization.

Perhaps a stupid question...but why doesn't the FBI target these guys for investigation? It would seem that there is plenty to go into court with.
