Maverick Republican Sen. John McCain said Sunday that his New York colleague, Sen. Hillary Clinton, would do well if she becomes president of the United States.
"I am sure that Sen. Clinton would make a good president," McCain told NBC's "Meet the Press," as both he and Clinton were being interviewed from Baghdad.
While noting that as a Republican, he'll be supporting the GOP nominee in 2008, McCain reiterated, "I have no doubt that Sen. Clinton would make a good president."
Asked whether she thought McCain would make a good president, Sen. Clinton was somewhat less effusive, responding tersely, "Absolutely" - before erupting in her familiar cackle.
Carl my friend, please don't use the word Maverick to describe McCain.
McCain isn't independent or nonconformist. He instead moves to where the power is, the politically correct. He lives for the MSM camera.
McCain is not a maverick. He is a predictable self absorbed political hack.
The "old club" of the senat rules are DEAD. Sometimes I which jumpin jeffords took specter and mclooney with him.
Sen McCain is the Top DemocRAT in the nation, and he's where he belongs, along side Sen Clinton.............

After being asked, repeatedly, to make Senator John McCain our squirrel of the month; We, here at the Global Squirrel Network have looked into the matter and decided: 1) He does seem to have the ability to draw people to him . . . as do squirrels.
2) He also possesses the unique ability to make bitter enemies of neighbors . . . Just like squirrels!
3) He has suffered inhumane treatment at the hands of humans, giving him a most personal insight into the lives of everyday squirrels.
4) And finally, he does look like us. For example, the photo, at left, is certainly the face of a squirrel, fiercely protecting his nuts.

Mugging for the cameras is the ONLY reason these senators traveled AT THE SAME TIME as the president. Especially hitlary, and McCain making this statement is only him trying to get in on Hitlarys Iraq "listening" tour.

She can maneuver all she wants, but Hillary is Hillary. Any American voter who does not know her for who she is at this point in time must have been in a coma for the last thirteen years. Thing is, her followers love her regardless of anything she says or does. Her hard core opponents oppose her regardless. That leaves those so-called 'swing-voters' who vote based on boxers-or-briefs or other momentous issues.
