Before I get clobbered by others on this thread, let me say I refer not to the Pope's statement on homosexuality when I say his thinking is muddled--but to his writings which are often vague and meandering and internally inconsistent.

You don't agree with all the Pope has done? Fine.

But don't spread scandal about him. Your comments make those who are not Catholics less likely to join the Faith.

I'm sure members of other religions would not like it if one of their members bashed their church's leader for a matter that is outside of faith and morals.

The Pope is the leader of the Church and he will make many mistakes in his job, just like anyone running that large of an organization would. You are supposed to obey him regardless if you are really are a Catholic.

Obviously, you haven't read anything he wrote ----or you graduated from the publik school system and have poor comprehension skills.
