"But still; they caved. That's not good."
But, on second thought it'll shut PETA up and we can all get on with our lives. Maybe they did cut PETA off at the knees by NOT fighting this?
"Now this has got me thinking. I might have to go run over some Peeps for the kids' Easter baskets."
Thanks for the reminder! I buy Peeps as soon as they put them on the shelves. Then I open the packages and let them "cure" for a few weeks. I like my Peeps crunchy, LOL!
Pussies.
PETA is a joke, even other liberal groups distance themselves from them, but watch what's going to happen now.
PETA will step up and demand that Kraft stop producing dairy products because it "hurts the cows" or something. It'll be innocent at first - just a newsletter and maybe some nutjob spokesperson denouncing Kraft - but then they're going to hold protests on company grounds.
Appeasing leftists is suicide.
I just don't get Kraft caving in. 99.999% of Americans have a much more positive opinion of Kraft and their products (whether you're poor or upper middle class, who hasn't enjoyed Kraft's mac and cheese at some point?) than they do of PETA and other animal rights whackos.
Guess where the unsold roadkill candies were sent.
I'll guess: To the Troops in Iraq?
Try developing countries.
"Try developing countries."
So Road Kill Candy is now being sent in lieu of, say, sacks of grain, to stave off hunger?
