I posted the title Fox article in my 8 above and I don't see anything in it to answer your very pertinent question.

I think this is the light at the end of the tunnel: a train heading for Greer standing on the tracks.

A cursory review of this case shows Greer and Michael have obstructed appropriate treatment, therapy and rehabilitation at every stage.

They will be utterly destroyed by an investigation.

If the inmates at Abu Ghraib were subjected to the same confinement, isolation and sensory deprivation as Terri Schiavo, Ted Kennedy would be on the all the news programs screaming himself red in the face.

If even one inmate at Abu Ghraib had been deprived of food and water to the point of death, there would be a giant movement from the Left to impeach the president.

I just emailed President Bush, Vice President Cheney, and Governor Bush this very obvious comparison.

The only reason this case has reached this crisis is that Michael and Greer and their hired piranas have created a Goebellsian justification out of lies by the yard.

I've been posting in defense of Jeb Bush on a number of related threads, who most commenters seem to believe has primary responsibility for keeping Schiavo alive. I'd like to suggest a new target, however -- Charlie Crist, the Florida Attorney General who wants to be the State's next Governor. What has Charlie, Florida's Chief Law Enforcement Officer, done to help Schiavo and reign in Florida's renegade judges. Shouldn't he, rather than Jeb (a long-time friend of the pro-life community), be the subject of letter writing campaigns?

...and another thing... If you or I were accused of abuse or neglect of our children, and it was deemed credible enough to launch an investigation, would we STILL be able to have them IN OUR CUSTODY while the investigation was going on?

Gotta give FOX credit for getting the story 99% correct. The only problem is that a feeding tube isn't exactly what's normally meant as keeping someone alive artificially, but at least she's not been labeled a vegetable and it does speak to her side of the story.

What goons? For that matter, what is considered a goon in this case? Who was visited? Where? Did they call 911? If they are in Florida I'll bet it took at least 45 minutes for someone to respond.
Intimidation tactics? What form? Violent, threats, non-violent. I hope someone breaks their arms!

I can't say too much but it's been reported to the authorities. A black suv shows up, walks in, wanting to know how many people were in their group.

We don't have a gang or a group.

We have spiral notebooks and pens. We are ARMED WITH THE TRUTH and well, that must be suppressed at all costs. This is Florida's constitutional crisis. Lots of people could lose their jobs and go to jail as accessories if a real investigation is ever undertaken.
