Recieved from a soldier in Iraq that I have been emailing with. Good stuff.

Thanks for posting this. I thought my son was crazy when he stated that he was going to kind of miss the place after he was gone before he headed out.

If you are disappointed if you can't find a new movie a day after it is released in theatres stateside. Impressive. They deserve it, don't get me wrong. I find this fascinating, though. Logistical supply chain management must be pretty decent if they can get DVDs of movies out there that quickly.

A Glock 9MM on a lady's hip is considered sexy. When is this NOT the case?

Great post.
Sure has humbled me and made me more grateful for their sacrifice for us. More grateful for my ice maker, clean water, a hot shower, my Klondike ice cream bars and my own bed.
This ought to be a must read for every American.

We are paying Revolting Roberts 20 mill a pix and we pay our soldiers doodly
It just amazes me that our current society will spend more money on our entertainment than on our needs. That is not a good plan.

A Glock 9MM on a lady's hip is considered sexy. Which ladies in Iraq are packing Glocks? The gate guards at the post I work on pack glocks, but they are "rent a guards", (mostly nice folks and ex and/or retired military) not military.
