No kiddin' ... We need a phrase to describe people who click onto threads to describe how insipid they think the threads are. "Loser" surely comes to mind! :-)

The Brits have their weird royalty...and we have well..our weird actors.

Seriously, movies is a form of entertainment...some serious and most junk. Tonight we celebrate the mostly junk.

Mike Myers opting for the Ken Burns look. An odd choice....

And where are the serious movies celebrated? How is your equation different for any other art form?

Another shot of Charlize. I think it looks like a feather duster.

I just saw the recreation for the set of Hell's Angels from The Aviator. I've got to see it now.

Hell's Angels is a strange movie. It was originally shot as a silent fil;m and then Hughes took a year to dub in dialogue and sound effects as the silent era was dying fast.

The Zeppelin scene and the air battles are among the best in film history; I need to get my hands on the complete movie ( a few scenes were shot in early technicolor).

I'm actually interesting in seeing if any of the short films or documentaries are any good; I haven't seen any of the nominated films except a pre-release version of the Passion.
